This is a long awaited expression of extreme gratitude to all. All of the nurses especially, as you are truly workhorses and Angels. My gratitude also heavily extends to the rehab workers who guided and gently pushed me and to the janitorial ladies who were so kind. Nurses, nursing assistants, I don't want to exclude anyone! Clerical workers, wound specialist, and the ones behind the scenes I never met. Thank you all, I was extremely pleased. Know each day you work how much you each matter! Thank you, I am forever grateful and will never forget.

Thank you all for the excellent care you gave our Mom/Mother-in-law during her year stay at your facility. She received loving care by all the employees and we sincerely appreciate all you did for her, day in and day out. When Covid hit in March, no one could have imagined what was to come. It was quite an adjustment to window visits and phone calls. We really appreciated all the planning required to coordinate these for our family.
Thank YOU for also being her family during these hard times. We honestly feel like she was getting the best care possible, and that was our goal. She certainly deserved the best and we felt she had it. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work to give us some sense of peace knowing she was cared for and loved. We pray that God blesses everyone there richly for the work they are doing, they are glorifying Him in being in the service as they are to others. It truly does take a village.
With sincere gratitude,

I am writing this to help others in search of a nursing facility, hoping to ease the burden of this choice.
My mother, 96, spent a month at Sevierville Health and Rehabilitation Center. I had many concerns about sending her to live at rehab, thinking she would lose her strength and would be lying in bed most of the day.
This is, by far, the best facility I have ever seen or visited. The staff is dedicated and friendly, always willing to help. Each patient gets more one on one care than in the hospital, in our experience. Her medications were adjusted to perfection. The patients are physically clean and dressed for each day, and participating in many activity choices as well as therapy if ordered.
The rehab wing consists of private rooms. Mom’s was sunny and bright with views of the mountains and the beautiful landscaping. The exterior and interior were decorated for the fall season and was very cheery. I never experienced any odors during our stay. Mom’s room was kept immaculate by the housekeeping staff, and this was apparent throughout the facility.
My mother went to therapy twice a day and improved her walking and upper body strength for using her walker. She had fun in occupational therapy with their different activities. The therapy staff is kind, patient, and firm in their encouragement to do just a little bit more – one more step, one more minute on a machine. They keep the patients moving and progressing to their individual goals.
Mom enjoyed the onsite beauty salon, getting her hair done weekly. The Activity staff gave her a manicure during her stay. Activities staff are full of joy and have endless, boundless energy while providing daily fun activities. I visited every day from about 1p – 5p, and many times Mom was not in her room, but rather at an activity or in the therapy gym.
She enjoyed the food and was given several different choices at each meal. She could also choose to eat in her room or with other patients.
In summary, my mother was discharged from her inpatient stay stronger and healthier than she has been in years. She is happier in spirit, having been rejuvenated from the socialization. The facility social worker explained the discharge process in detail, sharing her extensive knowledge of programs to set up home care or outpatient therapy. Her goal was a smooth and safe transition, and her support was wonderful.
Mom chose to receive outpatient therapy at the facility 3 days a week and looks forward to getting her hair done on one of these visits as well. She loves visiting with the beloved staff that was so attentive and kind to her.
